Download activity has overtaken cinema attendance because of the modern technology that is available. The cinema attendance has risen, but has decreased slightly this past year.
Kick-Ass, Four Lions and the Prince of Persia, Karate Kid, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Sex and the City 2 were some of the top UK films for the 16-24 year olds. Older audience films were Burke and Hare and Made in Dagenham.
Cemetery Junction appealed both to the older demographics and the younger more important demographics.
